Day 38 - Started with the shoes today

    I was searching around Pinterest last night under the Women's Fashion category to get some new ideas for my outfits!  I saw a cute legging outfit with brown boots and a teal top and I have something like this but didn't feel like tracking down the top which I believe is in my basement in my closet with the rest of the clothes that don't fit in my other closets!  But I knew I wanted to wear my tall brown boots today so I started with those and created my outfit from there!  The boots are by Jessica Simpson and although the heel height looks extremely tall (5 inches) they are actually really comfortable!  Also wearing skinny jeans and a beige t-shirt from Old Navy with a long thin brown cardigan over it from Express.  And then a necklace I've worn before to pull the outfit together!

Day 37 - Booties

                  I totally forgot I fell for the Bootie trend a year or so ago and have been wearing my stilettos with my dress pants in this freezing cold weather!  When I was cleaning out my closet I came across these gems and was so excited to try them with my dress pants as they would keep my feet so much warmer!  I of course remembered these after I took my picture this morning so I'm not wearing them in the photo above.  The brand is Guess but I'm thinking I purchased them at either TJ Maxx or Marshalls since they have that big colored size sticker in them that those stores do!  They are really comfortable but the only thing that bugs me is that every time I take a step that big charm hanging from the zipper is pretty heavy so I feel it bang against my foot!  Aside from my shoes, the pants are from The Limited in the "Exact Stretch" line and the tag on my shirt says Moda International so it must be from Victoria's Secret!

Day 36 - Too busy to blog!

    I usually get into the office by 8am and finish my blog by 8:30 so I can begin my day but lately I've been getting to work later and later so I'm trying to fit my blogging in now :)  Today I am wearing black leggings and a purple tunic sweater from H&M.  The sweater is very form fitting but also long enough to bunch up and make it not look too tight!  This is one of my favorite "legging" outfits and have cute purple jewelry to wear with it if I was going somewhere other than to work!  But not today (or this year I guess) oh well!

Day 35 - A rocky Monday

  After being on a boat for 3 days I still felt the affect this morning when I got in the shower and was totally dizzy!  I can't imagine what I'd feel like if I was on a 7 day cruise.  I almost did a cruise for my honeymoon but I'm glad I didn't!  It was nice to experience what it was all about though and I for sure gained a few pounds considering I was at the buffet late night both nights and was ordering 2 appetizers and an entree and dessert at every other meal!  It's nice to be able to eat whatever and whenever you want without paying!  Today I'm just wearing a grey sweater, skinny jeans, and gray flats.  Casual and comfortable today for this freezing Monday morning!

Day 33 - Anchor's Away and a Lacey Dress

   

     

     Cruise Day 2.  For every previous Bachelorette Party so far we've gotten tank tops made.  So it's a tradition we do for all the brides!  Kathryn's says "Cruising away from the single life."  And on the back of the girls that weren't in the bridal party said "Kat's Crew."  These are made on CustomizedGirl.com.  They have Junior Fit tanks so they fit really well and have great customer service and designs!  So I'd recommend them if you ever need to create any kind of custom apparel.     At night we decided to have a fancy dress up night!  The bride-to-be looked absolutely stunning see below :)  The dress I am wearing was very inexpensive and was purchased at Love Couture in the Willowbrook mall at some point last year.  Still had the tags on it of course!  Vanessa told me it's a shame I'm not repeating outfits this year because it was too hot of a dress to not be worn again :)  Thanks Ness!    

Day 32 - Kat's Bachelorette Cruise to No Where!

    What a fun weekend!  I've never been on a cruise before so wasn't sure what to expect!  I definitely felt myself rocking the entire trip but never was actually sea sick.  I'm not sure I'd cruise again but Eric wants to go on one so I'll have to try it again at some point in my life!  Glad I got a quick trial on this 3 day one!  On this night I wore a top from Kohl's which I believe was Jessica Simpson.  The reason why I don't know is because I'm actually wearing this top backwards so I had to cut the tag out of it.  I preferred the V in the front not the back and it worked :)  I'm also wearing jeans and my Enzo Angeloni nude pumps.

Day 31 - Pre-Superbowl party at work!

So what do you think of the blog remodel?  I’m so happy with it I think it looks much more professional now!  Thanks Lyndsey!  So today at my office we are having a Pre-Superbowl dip party at 3 and we were asked to wear our favorite NFL apparel.  I have so much giants gear (mostly from Victoria’s Secret’s Pink NFL line) but this top is from Alyssa Milano’s line “Touch” on www.nflshop.com.  She has a ton of cute apparel for women from any team!  I am wearing skinny jeans and my black Baily Bling Uggs with them.  I try to avoid wearing Uggs to work but it’s a casual day so I went for it!  Don’t get blown away out there today!
