I tried to give myself a delayed opening this morning because of our small snowstorm yesterday but I still got to the office before 9. There was no traffic though! Today I am wearing a thermal-like leopard print top from the Gap and skinny jeans and flats. In my head I was just wearing the flats for this morning's photo and was going to throw my rain boots on to get into the office and then change but I forgot! So I'm stuck in flats today on this rainy day :(
I will be welcoming a new baby niece this week as my sister is scheduled to deliver on Friday! I can't wait to hold baby girl in my arms! But I have a long work week ahead of me before that happens! I still need to practice with the camera I can't seem to get a crisp bright photo from the camera yet. Today's photo is not so great but I didn't feel like spending any more time trying to figure it out this morning! I am wearing gray pants from The Limited with a white sweater from Joyce Leslie. Happy Monday!
For a girl that hates the color green I have no clue why I own a green pair of flats! This top was the only top I have in green! It's from Target I believe. I vaguely remember purchasing these shoes but don't remember from where. Glad I got my once a year usage out of them and back in the box they go!
Yesterday I purchased a DSLR camera from my friend Meg who purchased it for her blog but didn't get much use out of it! I spent a little bit of today researching how to use it and watching tutorials but I need some practice! But today's photo was taken with the new camera do you see a difference in the quality? Happy Friday! I am once again in the office on a Friday boo!! But I was off on Wednesday and worked at home yesterday so it's good to get up and get out! I am also hosting a small cocktail party tonight at my house so I may be updating this post later on with a 2nd outfit choice of the day! I totally forgot about this top I am wearing...which I have in at least 2 other colors. It's from Victoria's Secret and it's super comfy with fleece inside. And it's perfect to wear with leggings and Uggs on a casual Friday in the office.
It was really hard leaving my boo boo this morning. I sat down to give him a kiss goodbye and he just put his head on my lap and he didn't want me to go!
I ended up working at home today and didn't do much of anything so no photo post today! I will be going to work tomorrow though so I'll post something in the morning!
Today was my big shoot for Shine on Yahoo! I was so nervous I had no idea what to wear but everything went well and I can't wait for it air on March 28th! The segment was on shopping addiction (which I strangely was not diagnosed with) but they came to my house to film my closets and my shoes as references to someone who COULD be a shopping addict. An addict would be someone who has tried to stop shopping but has failed. I am on day 72 so I've succeeded so far. And someone who is in debt because of shopping. Fortunately this is not me either :) The crew that came to my house included 2 camera guys, an audio guy, the producer Jessica and the host Farnoosh! Everyone was so nice and it was really fun to film! We started with a sit down interview in my kitchen and then went closet by closet to film some short pieces. I really can't wait to see it all come together!
The outfit I am wearing today is a tank top by BCBG with a blazer by L.C. Lauren Conrad for Kohl's. With black skinny jeans and my Aldo pointy pumps.

Today I have a meeting at my clients at J&J and it's raining out so didn't wear the outfit I had originally planned to wear. I'll save it for the next client meeting! The top is from Express (I also have it in blue). And I still can't find my black dress pants so was forced to wear the back up pair again! I might just have to go to The Limited and buy a new pair (j/k).
