2 days closer to Valentine's Day! We are going to Ruth's Chris for dinner and I'm sooo looking forward to that! To keep with my pink/red clothing week I am wearing black leggings by Guess and a pink tunic cowl neck from Express and an Express cardigan over it. I can't wait to wear my baby pink Uggs at some point this week! They might have to wait until the weekend!
Hi Kristen - I'm still loving your posts. Do you have any recommendations for places to get cute flats? That's one thing that my wardrobe is definitely lacking. I want to stock up on a few pairs that can be either casual or work appropriate, and I also don't want to spend a ton of money on them because I tend to be hard on my feet and blow through shoes like crazy. Any suggestions?
Hey Katie! I only recently started wearing flats when skinny jeans became popular. I can't even remember what kind of shoes I wore before them! I purchased two of my favorite pairs at Lord & Taylor's they are Enzo Angeloni (but are kind of pricey). I would recommend checking out Loehmann's if there is one by you I purchased 2 pairs there. Or try TJ Maxx or Marshall's they always have a good variety of shoes but is also hit or miss. DSW also has a huge selection as well. If you really want a cheap pair I would say Payless but the last pair of shoes I purchased from there I wore in the city one day and came home with bloody and blistered ankles. I'm never buying Payless again! Good luck happy shopping wish I could purchase a new pair :)
I was thinking Marshall's or DSW, so I'll try there. Maybe on my way home from work today :-) I had to buy a new car last weekend so the deal was that I wouldn't buy any new clothes for the rest of the year with the exception of shoes since I go through them quicker than a dog scarfs it's food! So shoes it is!! Thanks!!
2014 Resolution:
Get rid of 1 item every day! From clothes to shoes to jewelry to home decor items! Follow my journey to clean out my closets!
2013 Resolution:
As a Shopaholic that is either at the mall once a week or has continual packages at my doorstep, I am vowing to not purchase any new articles of clothing or shoes, and to wear a different outfit everyday with the abundance of clothing I already have and many still with tags on it.
