Day 73 - No photo :(

I ended up working at home today and didn't do much of anything so no photo post today!  I will be going to work tomorrow though so I'll post something in the morning!

Day 72 - Yahooooo ooo ooo!

  Today was my big shoot for Shine on Yahoo!  I was so nervous I had no idea what to wear but everything went well and I can't wait for it air on March 28th!  The segment was on shopping addiction (which I strangely was not diagnosed with) but they came to my house to film my closets and my shoes as references to someone who COULD be a shopping addict.  An addict would be someone who has tried to stop shopping but has failed.  I am on day 72 so I've succeeded so far. And someone who is in debt because of shopping.  Fortunately this is not me either :)  The crew that came to my house included 2 camera guys, an audio guy, the producer Jessica and the host Farnoosh!  You can see some of Farnoosh's work on this site which is also the area on Yahoo! that my segment will be on.  http://shine.yahoo.com/financially-fit.  Everyone was so nice and it was really fun to film!  We started with a sit down interview in my kitchen and then went closet by closet to film some short pieces.  I really can't wait to see it all come together! The outfit I am wearing today is a tank top by BCBG with a blazer by L.C. Lauren Conrad for Kohl's. With black skinny jeans and my Aldo pointy pumps. Stay tuned for the link to the segment!

Day 71 - Client Meeting

  Today I have a meeting at my clients at J&J and it's raining out so didn't wear the outfit I had originally planned to wear.  I'll save it for the next client meeting!  The top is from Express (I also have it in blue).  And I still can't find my black dress pants so was forced to wear the back up pair again!  I might just have to go to The Limited and buy a new pair (j/k).   Enter your email address to the right to receive my blog posts via email!

Day 70 - Rocking the booties

  Oh Monday!  I don't like you!  I spent the weekend cleaning and organizing my house (and closets) for the Shine from Yahoo! shoot on Wednesday!  I am so nervous and want everything to look perfect and I don't even have an outfit picked out yet!  While organizing I remembered I had put some of my overflow of winter tops in my basement closet so I found lots of tunics to wear with leggings outfits!  So you'll be seeing many outfits similar to today's over the next week or so.  It's very hard to tell in this photo but I'm wearing a purple sweater tunic and new leggings from Arden B. and my Guess booties.

Day 68 - Daylight Savings

  Happy almost Spring!  10 days until it's officially Spring but today we got an extra hour of sunlight (and lost an hour of precious sleep!)  I didn't get a chance to blog yesterday but today's post is about yesterday's outfit.  I am wearing a plain black top from Express along with my grey skinny jeans also from Express.  Eric couldn't express more how much he really dislikes these pants.  He must have told me 3 times that he really doesn't like them.  I happen to like a little change in the color of my jeans so wanted to ditch the blue jeans today.  Oh well I guess I'll only wear these every few months (which if I look back I haven't worn them since January 18th so I'm good again until like May!)  And I'm wearing my Enzo Angiolini flats I love in black/silver!   Happy 30th Birthday Kathryn!!

Day 67 - NYC Training Day #2

This morning was really snowy and I was prepared with a new pair of snow boots my Mom had purchased for me last year.  She had been looking for a pair for a while for herself and you'll never believe where she got these...Bed Bath & Beyond. Since when did BBB sell rain boots?!?  And super cute ones at that!  Again I had brought flats to change into but some kind of rain/snow boot is definitely needed if you are walking in NYC through all the puddles!  The top I am wearing is from Arden B.  I was so excited to find out one of my friends works in the same building as my company's NYC office!  So I was able to say a quick hello to her and know I have a lunch buddy for the next time I'm in :)

Day 66 - NYC Training Day #1

  Today I had to be in NYC by 8am for "school" to learn about our new offerings.  Training was from 8:30-4:30 and I was so dreading it because I had to do the same thing on Friday!  There was a supposed Superstorm headed our way so I decided to be prepared and wear my Ugg rain/snow boots.  Of course I looked like an idiot in the morning since it wasn't even doing anything out but by the time we had to head back to Port Authority it was definitely doing something outside so glad I had my boots on!  I did bring a pair of flats though to change into once I got to the office!  The sweater I am wearing is from Old Navy.  I had worn this same one with a gray striped pattern a few weeks ago.
