Day 12 and 13 - Juicy Couture Zip Up #2

I knew it was going to be a lazy Saturday since I had no plans for the evening so I decided to go for the full Juicy Couture “Terry” getup today.  If I was going to wear a zip-up that I had matching bottoms to I figured I might as well wear it!  I haven’t worn a full sweat outfit in quite some time but like I said yesterday, I’m trying to wear everything I own so why not make a full outfit out of it!  As Eric was taking photos of me this morning he said girls don’t wear sweats anymore and I think that’s true at least of women my age.  I wear skinny jeans now instead of sweats but I dug these out!  I love love love mini Uggs for the purpose of wearing them with sweats.  If I were to wear any of my tall Uggs with this outfit I would have to tuck the pants into the Uggs or else it would look to bulky with the pants over the Uggs which creates a totally different look.  So when I used to wear all sweat outfits I decided to purchase Mini’s in many different colors so I have them in Sand (wearing today) and black, brown and a weird Rust color (I may have worn them once but will find a way to wear them again this Winter).  In the 2nd photo I feature my favorite Burberry scarf in Pink!  Goes great with my off-white/beige outfits. 

Sunday I went out to dinner for my Dad’s birthday but forgot to take a photo but it was a gray striped top from Express with jeans.  Nothing special :)

Day 11 - Plaid and a Henry

Remember when plaid was in?  I think it was the trend of Winter 2011.  I really hate plaid but I had to purchase some kind of it since it was everywhere that season!  So last night Eric asked me if I had a cowgirl costume.  I thought it was kind of weird and I didn’t really understand why he was asking me this but he was trying to help me out with my blog by using his gun as an accessory to an outfit.  He’s a gun fanatic (I’m sure you know if you are his Facebook friend and have to constantly read all his statuses on the topic).  He recently purchased the gun I am holding in today’s photo he says as “décor” for our home.  It’s called a Henry.  He always wanted to put a gun over our fireplace and my answer was always NO but he’s obsessed so I might just have to let him.  So this plaid shirt came about all because he wanted me to pose with his gun!  Plus I am trying to wear everything I own so I had to get this one out of the way at some point!  The top is from Guess and the jeans are my Jessica Simpson’s.  The boots look like they’ve never been worn before when I pulled them out of the box.  They are Candies brand so I’m pretty sure they are from Kohl’s.  Now back to organizing my closets :)

Day 10 - Client Presentation

So the outfit I had in mind that I had wanted to wear even earlier in the week I decided was a better outfit to introduce in the Spring...plus I didn't have a coat or purse to go with it!  It really love it but it's all pastel colors and any coat I have wouldn't look right with it.  It's ridiculous I know that I won't wear something because I don't have a jacket to go with it but that's how I am.  I need to have the jacket, shoes and purse all match!  Something I totally got from my mother!  So instead today I went with my go-to black pants from The Limited for any client meeting and a NWT (New With Tags) top from Target.  I don't purchase a lot of clothing from Target and I've had this top for a few months now and have been wanting to wear it so today was its' lucky day!  It's a silky material and it was wrinkled this morning and I tried to put my steamer to it but it didn't work too well. The sleeves are kind of weird too and they look better pushed up a little.  And the back of the shirt is longer than the front which bugs me.  I don't think I have anything this color in my closet so I just had to keep it!  I am also wearing my favorite black pumps from Guess.  That's all for today!

Day 9 - WFH (Working from home)

I had the worst migraine in my life last night I couldn’t even move.  Our Wedding movie came in and the pain started while I was watching that and I tried to make dinner after that and couldn’t even.  I ended up falling asleep at 6:30 and woke up at 11p.m. and it was gone!  I woke up this morning feeling like it was coming back so I decided not to go to work today so I don’t even want to share with you what I have on lol.  During my 14 hours of sleep last night I ended up having a shopping dream!  I had a dream I went to the mall and ended up going nuts and buying so many things from so many different stores and I was really hoping to get away with not running into anyone I knew because I didn’t want to get called out for shopping when I vowed not to!  But lo and behold as I’m heading towards the exit with my 6 shopping bags I see my friend Lauren Palmisano and her sister.  I try and turn around and head for another door hoping she didn’t see me but she totally did and yelled my name and called me out!  I’m not sure what this dream means but I don’t like what I was trying to do because I was trying to cheat!  I have no plans on cheating but I do have some store credits and rewards that I feel like I should be able to redeem right?  Since I wouldn’t be using my money to pay for it?  What do you all think am I allowed to use my $30 Express Next Rewards or my store credits/gift cards at Victoria’s Secret and Macy’s?  I guess I could always use them to buy Eric something and that would be ok!  Tomorrow is my client meeting so will be wearing a brand new outfit from head to toe!

P.S. - I will be using the abbreviation WFH whenever I "work from home" so you know there really was no need for an outfit that day! 

Day 8 - Last minute scramble

I had this great outfit picked out last night to wear but decided to hold off on wearing it until Thursday because I have a presentation to go to at my clients.  So this morning I was scrambling for something to wear and came out with Jessica Simpson skinny jeans, a top from Express sometime last year and high boots.  I have two pairs of these same exact jeans because they totally stretch (and because the first pair I purchased before I lost weight).  I don’t know what it is with Jessica Simpson sizes but she really makes me feel good knowing the size 26 fits (and is a little big).  But I’ll just give it to the stretchiness of the material J  I like this top from Express because it’s very lose fitting.  The boots are from Aldo and I’ve had them for a few years now but don’t wear them too often so are still in decent shape!  I’ll try to come up with something better for tomorrow this one is a little boring! 

Day 7 - Leggings

Happy Monday!  I’m trying out a new location in my house to take my self-timed photos what do you think?  Lighting is still dark!  Today I’m breaking out one of many pairs/colors of leggings I own. I lived in these about a year and a half ago when I was 15 pounds heavier and 2 pants sizes larger.  I love leggings because you can wear a big top and hid whatever you have under it!  Now that I’m 15 pounds lighter I can wear more form fittings tops with them but today’s is an oldie from Charlotte Russe.  I can’t remember the last time I even shopped in that store so I’m not sure how old this sweater is!  The leggings I’m wearing are brown and from Arden B. And the shoes are flats by Enzo Angiolini from Lord & Taylor’s that I love!  I have them in black too although I haven’t located them yet this year.  The necklace I am wearing I found in my older sister’s room many years ago when she left for college and never gave it back.  Sorry Lauren but I love it and wear it all the time!!

Day 5 and 6 - Weekend Review

No exciting outfits for the weekend unfortunately so am not going to post photos.  I was debating blogging on the weekends or not and decided I'll do a review but only post photos if I go out and have something fun to show off.  I am still not going to repeat on the weekends but will need a blog break at some point!  Saturday I wore Express Jeans with a Gap waffle textured long sleeve top and my Cardy Uggs in cream with specks of gold in them.  I went to The International Trade Center in Budd Lake to make some returns at Old Navy, TJ Maxx and Michaels and resisted purchasing anything!  I was looking around and just kept thinking to myself that I didn't NEED anything and moved on!  I went out to dinner with some of my girlfriends and kept the same outfit on but changed my Uggs to flats to dress it up a little because I didn't want to waste a second outfit for 1 day!  Sunday I wore Express jeans again (different from Saturday though) and a cami with a zip-up (none Juicy Couture) and my black Baily Bling Uggs (my favorite!)  That's all for now looking forward to a full week of blogging and new outfits ahead :)
